The Spanish Crisis from a Different Point of View

We recently talked about big isssues in class. Things such as poverty, domestic violence, debt, unemployment, pollution, divorce rates, obesity, etc. No wonder  we  also tackled the topic of the current economic crisis, as this is probably our main concern nowadays.  Prospects are rather pessimistic but Carlos found this video which focuses on the positive features of Spain and brings a gentle  breeze of optimism.

So, what do you think about this video?  Which new vocabulary did you  learn thanks to this video?
What do you know about the companies mentioned in the video?

  1. I´m often an optimistic person so when I saw this video the first time, It rose my spirit about our financial crisis in Spain.
On the other hand, maybe the video is a good advert to shell the wonderful work from Grant Thornton and they only want to give some "coba", You Know?

  2. I think there are many negative things that doesn't appear in the video, but it's true that Spanish people aren't confident and we need foreigners to tell us that we are good.

  3. Very nice point of view about our great country. If we sale a good image about Spain we sale more goods and services, attract foreign investments and we can dinamize our economy and mantein our welfare state, now seriously affected by the crisis. It's Marketing and it's a big help for us...thanks to Grant Thornton for it and good luck with his projects in Spain. Obviously this company find costumers but this is a nice advertising campaign also for us.

  4. To begin, I like the video because it shows all the positive things that Spain is doing at an international level. But the purpose of the video is merely a marketing strategy to promote the services of the Grant Thornton company, because I think they are trying to sell themselves as a solution for the spanish crisis.
To conclude I would like to say that I think the graphics are really good and very well coordinated with the overvoice.
